QCoast2100 is a state-wide program that helps Queensland councils plan and take action to manage these hazards through science-based, locally tailored projects.

Funding is available for Queensland’s 41 coastal local governments. Please visit the Eligible Councils for the complete list.
No. However, councils are required to provide a cocontribution (cash only). The cocontribution value for your council can be obtained by contacting qcoast2100@lgaq.asn.au.

Please contact the Program Manager at the first instance should you require any technical advice. The Program Manager may consult the Expert Panel to resolve any specific technical issue/clarification on your behalf.
The Program Manager, DETSI and a member of the Expert Panel have assessed all applications to provide recommendations to the Program Board.
