COASTAL LEADERS FORUM

In 2022, the LGAQ Coastal Leaders Forum was combined with the QCoast2100 Forum to provide mayors, CEOs and QCoast2100 Project Leads an opportunity to initiate strategic discussions, identify coastal council-specific priorities, showcase initiatives, network, and share information.

The event was designed to be both informative and interactive, with a variety of session formats including workshops, panel sessions, study tours, and optional networking opportunities. More focussed delegate sessions were held on Day 2, where Elected Members and CEOs attended Ministerial Delegations and roundtable discussions, while QCoast2100 Leads attended QCoast2100 Project focussed presentations and workshops. 

The Coastal Leaders Forum was held from Thursday 11 to Friday 12 August 2022 at the Gladstone Entertainment Convention Centre.
