Additional Funding
FUNDING | An additional $3 million has been committed by the Queensland Government to enable eligible local governments to develop and implement their CHAS. Four targeted funding sub-programs are being developed, details will be made available to coastal councils over the coming months.
Implementation
IMPLEMENTATION | Call for expressions of interest open for eligible Queensland coastal councils to apply for funding to support finalised Coastal Hazard Adaptation Strategies through coastal hazard adaptation implementation projects. Projects that demonstrate innovative solutions and benefit to other councils will be encouraged.
Course
SHORT COURSE | May 2022: Griffith University is, once again, running the Coastal Resilience Short Course. Level I: Foundations training program will be held on the Gold Coast, and a Level II: Advanced Applications short course will be held in Byron Bay.
